Meet Dr. Pechersky

Dr. David Pechersky was born and raised in Monroeville. After graduating from Gateway High School, he attended the University of Michigan and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. At the completion of his dental training, Dr. Pechersky was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society.

Dr. Pechersky became a specialist in orthodontics at Tufts University in Boston. While at Tufts, Dr. Pechersky trained directly under the president of the American Board of Orthodontics. His commitment to fundamentals, combined with his experience in the most advanced and modern techniques in orthodontics, brings a unique and exciting philosophy to the office.

Early in his career, Dr. Pechersky invented Movemints® Clear Aligner Mints, which are the only edible accessory ever created for Invisalign! Movemints are breath mints that are specially formulated to be used with Invisalign and have a patented shape to help them fit between the teeth for easy use. Movemints are sold all over the world and have created a fresher treatment experience for thousands of patients. 

Dr. Pechersky and his wife, Laura, live in Fox Chapel with their two kids, Sasha and Theo, and their Bernedoodle, Hazel. He is an avid follower of Pittsburgh and University of Michigan sports teams, and enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his family and friends.
